Correct. And don't even hope your more timid cat would get braver around the dog if there was another cat that stood up to it. Cats don't work that way. More than likely your timid cat would be even more timid with an aggressive cat around to beat it up. Seems there are plenty of animals to take care of in your life already.
I got it when I lost a bet on whose Welsummer would lay firstI only HAD to keep it 2 days, but I kinda like it. @N F C found it.
I never thought of that but that makes sense I suppose. Though I wouldn'tget or keep an aggressive cat that was mean to her. Just one that would actually stand up to the dog.
But yeah, I think I'll take care of the current animals. I mean, it's not that many given some people have like 3-5+ dogs and/or cats and farm animals and everything and we only have 1 dog, 1 cat, the chickens and the fish. And not working I do have the time. BUT. I think I will start by actually taking the best care possible of the current ones. I mean, I already try yo buy good quality food and everything but Gator rarely goes on walks or gets played with or trained. Though he can be reactive on walks and it's been cold so I haven't taken him. But we could go in our woods or at least play with him. And the cat I don'tchange her litter box. My dad does. And usually it is saved until it gets too gross. So I think I'll start changing it myself. And interacting with her more. And the chickens I barely go outside anymore. I mean, I always make sure they have food and water but all the containers last a few days so sometimes I don't always go out daily. Though I'm starting too more now that they're starting to lay again. Speaking of which, I'm bad about refilling the oyster shell. But that's only because it's on the ground and they fill it with dirt practically the second I put it out there. So I gotta raise it up a bit. So I gotta improve that. And we all know the fish need improvements with frequency of water or filter changes, though I've been better. They need a bigger tank too soon.
So I think I might focus on improving their care first. I mean, none of them are neglected or anything and I do play with Gator when he wants to but not everytime and I don't actively seek him out to do so ha
So I could be better. Not really neglected or not taken care of, just bored I'm sure. And could be better.
Plus I'm starting school again soon
