I have RIR chicks and soon to have silkie/showgirl chicks. I also have hatching eggs as well. I'm in Pomona if you ever need any of these breeds. I should have marans chicks this summer. It's always good to see fellow CA chicken addicts.

Yip-EEEE California!!!

Eggie and I are in the process of relocating back to the family home of 56 yrs AND we're allowed chickens. We've been reading and reading and still haven't decided

which breed would be best to start with. We're most interested in brown egg layers and the "Easter Eggers". I'm also really confused with the abbreviations used for the various breeds

.... We're planning on starting with 6-12 and will be starting our coop and yard within the next few days.... Can hardly wait....
