Jeffrey,

I have been to the beach 2x already this week.

Mon. was my first day off for summer-break and I went to the beach that day and TODAY too! Haha
Planning to go to the beach tomorrow again to go fishing with my pap. Haven't fished with him since school started in Fall. Yikes!

Anyhow, my birds are doing good. Yours?

Yeah, sorry about the phoenix thing we talked about before. I couldn't get yours because I ended up working with the Onagadori (The Phoenix's ancestor) so I decided to stay with the actual thing, besides, the grandad of my roo got a 12+ foot tail so yeah...I would choose that over any Phoenix. Lol. Nothing against the Phoenix thought because they are good to start out with for beginners. I had them : )

But yeah, been real busy even when school is out because got two weeks before Summer school starts again so I gtg do the things I want first.

1st on my list is...HAVE FUN! Haha

I want to get some Quails...leaning towards the Bobwhites. Do you have or know anyone around the area that does?

Take care and stay cool!

I wish i was closer to the beach though

My birds are good. I fergot we even talked about the phoenix, lol. About the quail. I have a pair of Courtnix quail(a.k.a brown or japanese quail)ive been looking to sell. I have no idea about bobwhites but i did read somthing about them not doing to good in CA but i could be wrong. I would look into them more before getting them. Have fun

Jeffrey,

There are a few breeders in San Diego that has them and got chicks from them to sell so I guess they are ok. The problem is...they go for so high here! $75 for a trio! Imagine that! Haha

The 2 month old Onagadori chicks that I am selling are less than that...which isn't correct if you consider the rarity between the two. Haha. Bobwhites is like...PLENTY!!! (Not considering CA)...Onagadori (The whole U.S.)...barely anyone has them!

But anyhow, if you decide to get some, please count me in...we will devide up the cost for the eggs or whatever and whatever hatches...we split. Sounds good?

If you are gonna get Bobwhites.

Yeah, I called again to tell him (the seller down here in San Diego) that from the forum...they shouldn't be over $25 for a good trio and the guy just said "well, just buy it where you found the $25 then, don't bother me..."

RUDE!!!
