CACKLE HATCHERY????

I ordered mine from here and got them yesterday. I ordered the 18th of February and was actually shocked and unprepared that they came yesterday, as I had no notice. I'm not too thrilled with this hatchery as they didn't even have the correct phone number

They have never sent me a notice. I was just told on the order slip when they would be shipped. I just marked my calender, and they came on time.

yeah thats what my order invoice said shipping on the 1st of april at 5 am. thats on a wednday so i figure by friday the 3rd i should have them. all my phone numbers were correct on the invoice . sucky part is i have to wait a month but i want it that way because its still cold here in maine so by april it should be warm.

OK so i also ordered from cackle about a month ago for a ship date of the 23rd of January, ordered 19 pullet cali white leghorns and 1 cockerel. Monday night, 23rd, got a phone call saying and i love this one

unfortunately we are in the business of counting our chickens before they hatch

He said I would be put at the top of the list for the march 2nd ship date. I will post back to update as soon as i find out if they ship or not on the 2nd.​

oh nice. thats not what i want to here .they take your money quick enough though dont they and then delay it .

I ordered from them twice. The first time I waited several weeks. The second time I got smart and left a message with the order to please let me know when they would arrive so I would be available for pick up at the PO. Well, they called me like 5 minutes later and said they would be sent out the next morning.

I can tell you that when all of them arrived both times, they were in excellent health and I was extremely pleased. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. Just so happens our farm store just had a big supply so I bought them there this year.

Got 21 baby peeping chicks in today. Did not loose a single one in transit. All chicks appear healthy and no deformations that I can see. They started eating and drinking as soon as they were put in the brooder.

Mine came on time. All doing well. Eating right away. Love the chick season.
