Will you be able to walk into the coop?
Don't see a human door, yet.

Not sure that insulation will do much, if anything, with all the open wall spaces you have.

No aart, I won't be walking into the coop. The whole back side will be two large doors that open for cleaning. The insulation is not to keep heat in per say, but to hopefully keep heat out in the summer time. It is a radiant barrier. Unfortunately before we purchased our home, the previous owners had about half a dozen large trees removed and so now the afternoon sun bakes this portion of our property. But it is the only place there is room to do this coop. I am planting more trees, but it will take several years until they are large enough to provide some shade. So I decided to go with a radiant barrier to see if that helps. It wasn't very expensive so I figured it couldn't hurt to try.

Are they working today? Mine claims he has gout and went to the hospital. Yesterday i bought concrete to get some of the posts set because i am getting sick of waiting. Going to the library, then i may do concrete.

Well one guy is here and one is sick. But the one that is here came before 9 a.m.!! I now have siding on the front and he is working on the nest boxes. I painted the siding while he is at lunch.

Oh dear. This is a trial in patience, is it not?

My problem is that I have a doctor's appt. in another state and they are calling for snow while I am gone. My chicken sitter will not come and take of them in the snow in the coop they are in now and I don't want to have to lock them up the whole time I am gone. I promised they would be in the new coop before I leave so that her work will be minimal and she will have no trudging through the snow. I doubt we will get much, but you never know. Plus I don't want to leave with this coop hanging over our heads. Best to be done and dusted.

Either way, heat in or out, most the walls being open spaces makes insulation pretty much moot. Might help on ceiling if carport is in full sun.

Was wondering if they are working today too.....:fl

Not sure what you mean by most of the walls being open spaces? There will be siding on the coop inside and out. I hope it helps some or I have some very sore arms, knees and back for nothing. :(
