So it is 12:15 and no workers have showed up yet. Grrrrrrr:barnie:barnie:barnie:barnie

I am going to have some lunch and then head back out to paint the trim so all they have to do is cut it and nail it up. I do not want to be in there trying to paint once the chickens have moved. Husband says this is the last job we will have them do. We like their work, but this not showing up or only working 3 or 4 hours a day is not cutting it.
I am thinking it is common practise with the me generation. It is really hard to find guys to really put in a good day of work.
I love your girls by the way, splash is especially lovely! Going to finish my tea and go plant tulips.Way to go on painting trim!

I love the splash too! I don't know if it is a generational thing or not, but I am on a dead line. If they aren't in the new coop by Friday, I have no chicken sitter and I cannot cancel my doctor appt at this late date as it is my first time with her. My previous doctor retired in July and I am going to need my medicine refilled and she won't do that unless she sees me first. So I have no choice but to go. If they put in two full days, it would be done. Very frustrating. It is now getting fairly cold outside and my paint is taking forever to dry so I am not sure how much trim I will get done. Heading back out to see if it is dry yet. Wish I was planting tulips instead. Next year!

Beautiful girls WW. Do the work guys know why it's important to have their job done this week? Maybe they don't understand the urgency?

Yes. My husband told them and I told them. They said ok. This is the 3rd job they have done for us and it is the same MO each time. The other jobs were not time sensitive so it was just annoying, but not that important.

Well I am exhausted, but I got all the trim painted. There were 12-- 1" x 4" x 12' boards. So now if they show up they can rock and roll! I think it is time for a cup of tea and a little crocheting.

You've earned a restful evening WW, enjoy!

Well a new day has dawned. Will either of my workers show up today? I am hoping so. If he does, I am going to ask him to put up the inside walls first thing so I can get them painted and start installing the HWC over the eaves. I am trying very hard not to get upset over these guys.
