I just started raising quail. I have a mixture of normal sized Tibetan and pharaoh coturnix right now in a cage that is 10 inches tall. I'm interested in getting jumbos but wondering what's the cage requirements are for height? Are they taller or just fatter than the normal coturnix, or both? Thanks for any help.

Generally 10 to 12 inches on cage height is best. You don't want them getting any lift so they bonk their heads on the ceiling. If you notice their heads touching the ceiling, you can raise it up a few inches from there. :)
