Adorable! Had a blue LF cochin hen that was my broody for my original batch of Faverolles, she was a favorite of everyone here.

I have a couple of birds from Roslyn too.. one pullet is useless & is headed for auction, one pullet is pretty darn nice

I have 2 mottleds from her eggs, one black and one blue, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them yet.

I have seen mention of "Hysterical Mottled" could someone please explain this to me? I am assuming it is not a chicken in need of a paper bag to breathe in LOL

The boy pictured is not from Lucky Pickens, the blue mottled pullet is, sorry I was unclear...
The parent stock of the cockerels I have available came from Westknoll (Amy) and Wildwood.

This time of the year is a great time to pick up roosters! We all have any number of them available. I think Erin might be the closest to you, but I'm not sure who would be "local".

Thanks. I wish I could get MF to be like this.
If I get time, I plan to put him with some MF hens to see if that modifier for Hysterical white will come out on the breeding so I can get Calicos. It still will take 2 generations and I would hope to have a real Calico roo to use with the offspring from him.

So much to do and so little time......and money.....and energy......

She is a pretty girl! I think she will work nicely in a breeding program.
Love that boy! (I think I say that every time I see a photo of him!)
