Sweet!  about time girl!  was that the buff from stacy?  Nice!  hoping mine decide to start giving some eggs again soon.  hatched those 2 chicks but haven't seen an egg since.  I did get a few firsts today as well.... my first light sussex and my first lemon cuckoo orp egg.  still gonna take a hatching break for the next month.  gonna worm in a few weeks, then separate breeders, then starting incubating again around 2nd week of january.  sure is nice to not be a chick mill for a little while!  although ron will help me bump my numbers this weekend!

I know. Now i can finally offer some hatching eggs soon and get them to start buying their own food! Lol

The Isbars are doing great. I still have them in a breeding coop... Two of the hens combs are real red. I'm surprised they are not laying yet :/
But when they do...I'm ready

How's the hawk situation like cooper? Are they still hanging around? Are your chooks doing ok?
I was fixing my fence today. I was kind of bent down in some tall grass near a little pool of water, and a hawk not like most I've seem this year. It had a lot of white under it and on the back of its tail swooped about 3' behind me! Startled the mess outa me lol!
They've been circling but no dive bombers lately. I've gotta get up more cds and owls before they start trying to hit hard again.

hawk is gone I think. I have my crele empordanesa in a covered run. white emp's will be soon. they are in with my other partridge penedesenca and icelandic's and ameraucana plus the big guy rooster.

I bought my SOP at the Stockton show last year. It was pricey but the same cost as buying it online from the APA and no shipping. (Just assuming that the APA charges shipping.) I have not even started breeding my Langshans and SPPRs and I've used it quite a few times in the last year.
