Molly, the set date for the quail eggs would be around the 15th. I'm sure I can have a bunch for you by then. Do you have quail racks or are you going to hand turn them? That might determine how many you want to deal with unless you put them in a carton.

Coops came today unexpectedly!!! I called about a day to late to tell him to put both nest boxes on the sides and chicken doors So only one coop is not exactly how i need it. Still some minor mods to do but l in all, Im very happy with this work.

Doing a celebration dance tonight! I got my broody hen back in her flock with no real problems, first time someone didn't get bloody. It may freeze tonight and I hated having her on her own. She's in snuggling with her "sisters" again.

Can't remember, were you thinking of moving to Yreka? Would love to have more non-hatchery chicken people closer.

I'm feeding 47+ hens and getting 5 eggs on a good day. Come spring they will make up for the down time though.
