I think they were from Santa Rosa. Chiqita was working in Novato and she picked her up for me last Friday.
They are from my BLRW's. The yellow one is like nothing I've seen before. The splash in my first hatch was gray when she hatched, nothing like Lucky.cute what breeds
So many hens have been in that coop. It was built by my grandpa. I don't think it's the roost; I've seen her play on it, but not sleep. She has also layed in the nesting box, but today she didn't .Is she a big girl? I would watch her, she is an hybrid--thy have problems with their egg laying parts sometimes--start too early with too big of eggs.
She will get the hang of the nest, but she will probably do better with roosting if you use a 2x4 with the wide part up.
