Ron you know I have visions of dorking eggs dancing in my head

They are very nice looking eggs! Not too big and not too small either.

I am going to start hatching some for Kim soon and I bet there will be some extras.

I thought of you!

I took a couple of hours off from work and had to get back to feed the family.

I think they were from Santa Rosa. Chiqita was working in Novato and she picked her up for me last Friday.

Thinking about doing a candleing booth for a field day in March.

Since I'm worming my girls and they all lay brown eggs anyway, I was thinking of getting TJ eggs to put in the incubator.
How easy are they to candle? Does anyone have estimates on fertility, trying to figure out how many I would need to pick up.

Is she a big girl? I would watch her, she is an hybrid--thy have problems with their egg laying parts sometimes--start too early with too big of eggs.

She will get the hang of the nest, but she will probably do better with roosting if you use a 2x4 with the wide part up.
So many hens have been in that coop. It was built by my grandpa. I don't think it's the roost; I've seen her play on it, but not sleep. She has also layed in the nesting box, but today she didn't .
