If I decided to have all Crele looking chickens, would Cream Legbar, Basque hen, Crele Orp and Crele Pene be too weird? Maybe add Mille Fleur Leghorn to get something close that lays white eggs?

Careful Ron, you are starting to sound like me. People who have been here, know I love making frankenchickens in my lab. Funny thing, most of crossbreeds/colors I am working on are made up of many of the breeds you listed. LOL One of my favorite sayings is: "If they are pretty now, they will look great in a crele coat and are not completely dressed until they have a hat!"

Hey Ron and Jason.

Im sûre you guys know about this place already but just to be sûre. Because i did juqt stumble upon this place looking at incubators.

Gabbard farms? They have Penedesencas!!

Jusg wantéd to post this for you guys Just incase
My Pet Chicken uses them--The eggs I tried hatching from Jason came from them. Terrible shipping and a lot of them seeped and rotted. One stuck to the egg turner.

Their PP Rooster is having fertility problems too. I do have my eye on a place though....

Today should be a good day! I made Cheese Cake with Oreo crust last night and had a slice for breakfast. I also started pizza crust for tonight! I took a couple of pictures today of one of the Amelia chickens-Cream Legbar X Crele Pene Olive Egger chickens. Check out the crest! This picture was taken just before the cat wanted to play. The chick flew into the headboard..Boy can they fly! The flash was not being nice to me this morning and I had to get out of the house--Daughter to school and me to work. I will try to get a better picture of my Bresse pullet this weekend. She is still in Quarantine.
So cool! Wish I had the gall to process! I have a three month old roo that I'm going to have to try and CL today. He and my punk silkie roo who crows (even though it's not too loud) all day long! My husband is getting impatient and worrying about the neighbors. We tried keeping him in the garage, but as soon as we let him out he won't quit!

Ok. Well It looks like i wont be shopping with them Lol

Ok, you have 2 different sets of genes here! this confuses EVERYONE.
Frizzle can occur in any type of chicken. It is shown as AOV and judged on the standards of the chicken  it is ( Cochin, silkie, etc..etc..etc..)   They will never be a separate breed because it is not repeatable.  You  breed frizzle to non frizzle  and get 50/50 IIRC.  A frizzle is a  gene that causes the feathers to curve up.  2 of these genes cause the feathers to curve REALLY up ( waititout, do you have a picture of your little polish?)

Just got a photo of her today. Man, she is really hard to photograph. Hard to tell if she is a chicken or a pile of feathers! Is she a good example of what you were describing?
