Just got off work, and I'm already thinking about chickens.

Ha, I just need to get them so I can play with them instead of think about them.
Chickens are my therapists.

Are they part of the shipped egg experiment Ron?

Looks like someone mailed you a cat box.

We are posting pictures of shipped eggs we get to compare methods. I did post the pictures up there.

The eggs were wrapped in either foam or bubble wrap. There was big bubble bubble wrap on the bottom and top of the box and the eggs were packed in saw dust!

It was a very heavy box and the shipping was $21.00 for it.

The eggs are Blue black and Splash Black Australorp. There are 14 eggs.

A day off or the bator ran a bit hot? I hope you have a great hatch!
only 3 hatched. 2 are cracking. rest nothing yet. all the hatched x cracked are from the emp pen. I think the hens where sitting on them during the day before I could get. how long have you kept chicks in the bator?
I am thinking they will have to stay in there a day and a half while the crele's hatch
Ok. Stressed out. He's on edge constantly worried he is going to set off his heart condition. If he gets hungry, it stresses him. Too tired? Stress. And when he is stressed it makes him feel a certain which leads to more anxiety. He is struggling with it. I feel bad for him. He is back to work and trying to get through the day without stressing. Poor guy. Thanks for asking!

I am ordering the bottom piece to my bator today. I have 3 goose eggs saved up. I want to hatch them.

Woohoo duck pips!
Sorry Amy Beth. it will be ok

As soon as the chest feathers come in.

The difference becomes REALLY obvious. These are 5 week old wellies:

Get the Brinsea Spot Check. It's super accurate to .1 degree. It will save you worrying over whether your temperature is right or not. I love mine.
Bielefleder hens really let that welsummer come out of them!! Its almost scary lol

Ive got to get a spotcheck!!

Ive been driving myself mad with temperature in my genesis.

I just took Rons advice bumped up a couple of tenths and let it alone. Havent looked since.

Look how some hatching eggs were packed today:

All the eggs were fine. I hope the hatch!

Thats really interesting. Did the shipper have any results with this method before? I hope you get a perfect %100 on that one.

The idea makes sense.....
