Your welcome, It is hard I hate/love watching them grow up! Yes! I can never resist another duckling....And he is VERY handsome!Thank you Disco HenIt really is hard to watch them grow up so quickly! It makes you want to start all over again
I am happy to see Shamus grow into a handsome, young drake! lol![]()
That's certainly Northern CA.I'm in Fortuna, just south of eureka, does that still count as north?
So handsome! I love his little drake curl!! I love the little duckling stage (minus the mess). We started with 12 ducklings and lost 3 along the way, then when they were 3 weeks old bought 8 more ducklings. Re-homed some drakes and now sitting pretty with just over a dozen. Can't fit anymore ducks so I thought- why not geese? So now we have 2 goslings. Totally different than ducks- but love the fluffy cuteness.
Hopefully! I always love when you hatch your own eggs!It is so hard to resist a little duckling. I am hoping that my mallard hen, Natasha, and Shamus will have their own brood one day. They are not related although she did sit on his egg for about six dayslol I am hoping she will stay broody the next time around!
I'm sorry.ahh the limp is back... ikes. I think I need to bring the chick in a put her in the tub a few days with food and water.

Cheryl Cohen, Papa Brooder, Megan and I have them. Cheryl should have some ready to breed sooner than us.

Cheryl sold hers to make room for Toblunt Polish I believe. So perhaps just the three of us.
