I think I did the math wrong, its 50% of the chicks? Let me check
The chicks can get
4 genes 2 per parent
1 is blue/white
1 is white/white
So 1/2 the chicks will have the blue gene and have the blue shell and olive eggs.

But I could be wrong, I've had quite the day.

My hood popped up and smashed my windshield in early rush hour traffic in the carpiol lane. I had to pull over blind and going 70.

But I thin the math is right...

Only need the one blue gene, so if your hen gives it 50% of the time ( 1 out of 2) you'd get 50%? The 1 of 4 genes confused me at first to, but since it is 2 PR parent I think the father that is all white should be ignored, I think.

And yes I am lucky. Very very lucky. I'm still a bit shocked I got over. I'm sending thanks to whoever was behind me who was paying attention and didn't rear end me . I will be doing some serious thanking the powers that be tonight.
