California - Northern

Take time to look at everything. There are lots of choices for food, see what looks good to you. Livestock and the poultry show are in the far back. I'll be there Tuesday, with some chickens. I was considering having my ranch exhibit again, but I don't think I can pull it off this year.

hooray, i don't have classes tuesday -- i can go on the same day! looking forward to meeting you!

Darn I just looked again and it fooled me the first time. It is showing $111 for the 3' by 100' which is more this time than what I spent last time. Last time I spent $97 a roll. However, I think it would still be worth it for me to not have to go get it somewhere.

I am lazy like that!

I agree, I would rather have it delivered if shipping is free! It is still $19.00 less than the craigslist add which is in So. Sac..The person did email me back and said they have other materials also.

We should have at least 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Will be there at dinner time. I got our tickets online. Do they limit attendance? Did you exhibit the first two years? Thanks for the info!
No limit that I know of... enjoy yourself! Many of the booths and the livestock people close up late in the day, so try to get there as early as possible. I had an exhibit the first year but not last. Maybe next year I'll do it again.

It will be nice to meet you in person, too!

I didn't realise it was so soon! I was going to try and bring Cranberries and a Muscovy duck but I didn't sign them up. Suppose it was too late now.

Are we trying to all go Tuesday then?

Very Nice!

From what I have read, it gets harder to maintain the Olive color in the following generations. You may be able to make the color darker by breeding back to a Dark egg layer. Remember, not all of the next generation will get the Blue Gene and lay Olive colored eggs and some may not get the Brown gene and will lay blue.

Gott get that genetics chart back....
I would use pea combed hens back to your Marans too
