My male Bengal won't stay out of the shower either

We also have to keep the toilet seats down or the 2 of them play in the toilet. Their Wild Asian Leopard cat ancestor hunts for fish, so that is where they get the obsession for water. It is cute until they get in the shower with you, then run through the house shaking water on everything!

Leo was just a youngster here. This was before we remodeled the bathroom. He isn't allowed to play in the sink anymore. That could be why he now plays in his water dish.

Wow! I've never seen that breed before. So cool!

sounds like a great house name! mine is simply the Silver House, since it is partly covered with galvanized metal siding...

one downside of having the chickens locked in their coops almost all the time is that i spend less time watching them -- and so hadn't noticed til late yesterday that Lucy, my CL, is not looking well -- she's gotten very thin and her comb is smaller and droopy, and her backside is a mess (and she's not a particularly fluffy chicken, so usefully she's very tidy). i remember her seeming a bit low a few weeks ago, & gave them a course of Corid just to be on the safe side, so it isn't that.

i've isolated her & will get her cleaned up after work today -- but am not sure what else to do for her? chicken symptoms are so generic, it seems like it could be almost anything...
Worms? My girls have been pretty good, but one got really thin.Looking a little unthrifty. I thought I'd worm, and the thin one was pooping roundworms out like crazy! It was quite disgusting. The others didn't expel them like her, but I'm sure they all had them. Hopefully she'll put on more weight now. It's hard because so many symptoms sound like so many things. Not sure how much a vet would charge for fecal exam.

Wow! Check out this video of the fire. 100 home evacuated so far and one person hurt but not life threatening. Prayers being said.

So sad. Such a beautiful area. I'm praying all get out with their livestock. Really hard area for fire crews to work on.

UCD charges about $11.00.

Fall is a good time to worm flocks, I worm mine while they are molting. (less eggs to toss) I use Valbazen or Ivomec, so it doesn't affect their feather quality while molting.

Here's wishing a speedy safe trip of hatching eggs to Haileigh (waititout). Good luck with your hatch!

Does anyone know the dosage for chickens using the Ivermectin paste 1.87% ?

I've been setting the trap each night, three nights now. So far, two raccoons and one possum............ That was the best 50 cent investment in cat food I ever had.

I'll be setting it again each night until I have several nights in a row with no catch.
