That is amazing that you are getting all those eggs! I haven't seen an egg for weeks!

I am getting a dozen a day and have pullets starting to lay. The pullets that are starting do not have light. I have a Christmas LED string on one pen and a light in one coop.

I set 14 Amelia(Cream Legbar X Crele Penedesenca) hens crossed with a Crele Penedesenca for the NYD hatch a long. In a couple of days I will candle and see if the Boy was doing his job! I did check one last week and it looked fertile.

I got another new layer too! I think it's a breese pullet. I guess I'm not going to sell her mwahaha.

Mario thought it might be a guinea egg. I have no idea what sex that thing is. It is much nicer now that it is hanging out with hens and not roosters.

I have one Bresse Pullet that was scalped. She roosts on a pallet at night so is not near any lights(I pick her up each night and carry her to the coop). She lays an egg every other day with now lights! Of course she will not lay her egg in the coop. I am hoping that she will integrate better some day.

I have one FBCM pullet that just started to lay, think she gave me 2 or 3 eggs then stopped lol. I have no lights in the coop however.

My girls stopped laying entirely after the Fox attack(except the breese). I got a few eggs in November but not much. I figure that was their break! They got lights this year. They seem very happy with them.

My roosters were outraged this morning. It was overcast and still no light at 645. They crowed and crowed demanding light and justice!

They are still grumbling...
