Thanks Ron. You mean just hang pieces like the cd's?
Yes, for the raptor. They also have shiny streamers.

I was recommending Google Chrome to help with problems of posting on BYC today. Older Mac and Windows Operating systems cannot update to the new versions of Safari and Internet Explorer. On those computers things will only get worse here.

Here is Rocky 2 enjoying the snow

That's great! My flock went in it only for a bit, but then when it started melting would fly from dry spot to dry spot over the snow, silly chickens.

Here's a snap shot of the Bed & Breakfast a couple days ago. All the snow is out of the run area (melted, but still have some in the garden only 5 feet away) and we have put straw down over the sand (cuz it was getting eaten by the clay soil) for warmth and mud control.

Hi all:

How are things? I have been reading and actually talking to myself, or laughing at things, but too lazy to actually post anything from my phone.

I LOVE the TARDIS that was awesome. Chiqita that is bananas that you cannot use your only heat source on cold days for spare the air. Ron nice new egg, Linda, your accident story was very descriptive. I remember the feeling of being in an accident and focusing on strange things like you did about how did those egg cartons get on the roof? I hope you are feeling okay now. Jason I don't think my chickens would be digging the snow.

I feel sorry for all you that still have snow. It was sooooooo cold here for a couple of days and it was kind of miserable. I did bring in my 5 gallon bucket waterer each night though. That was the easiest way for me to keep the freezing under control and I just took out warm water in the morning. I do think they like the warm water on those days.

I am not sure if it is a combination of the warm water, the dry oatmeal, or a coincidence but I have 3 new layers this week. My two Wheaten Ameraucana's and I think my DLBB just today.

I had a 7 egg day today out of 13 chickens. They are all 33 weeks old and the last three started this week which were the two Ameraucana's and the DLBB.

Here are some of the variety I have from the last 4 days. I notice I have a lot of white egg layers.....
Not bad for 4 days.

These eggs are more green to me than blue......they do appear to be true Wheaten Ameraucana's though.

The middle light brown egg here is the newest edition. I do believe it was the DLBB who laid this one.

The very first pointy blue/green egg, and I think my Welsummer eggs just keep getting darker! Yay!
