California - Northern

So, Vonnie mommy and Orlando daddy?! I love that name for a roo. We are in the thinking process for naming our Pita Pinta cockerel. It has to be a Spanish name. He is quite the raging bunch of hormones right now but hopefully he will start romancing a little more and the girls stop fighting back. Top name in the running right now is Zorro. We first talked about naming him Antonio for Antonio Banderas since we just watched Zorro then thought why not just name him Zorro!
I need to name my Pita Pinta boy too.

The name will come to me. I like the ones you have picked.

Now I think you should name him anti onion.

We took our other Pita Pinta boy (the one with brassy hackle feathers) to the farm. We named him Brass Knuckles because he was the top bird in his age bracket here in town. He was promptly picked on by several of the young Bresse cockerels that we had previously relocated to the farm. He flew over the run fence and is now hanging out by our friend's house. He is not living up to his name!

I heard that the PVC pipe do it your self feeders were cheap to make but the pipes around here expensive! Plus I need 12! What does everybody use for their pens? I am so tired of pots and pans I have been using there is just feed all over the yards wasted!

I don't think it's gotten that cold really. And it seems almost to be spreading a little...

I suppose they could be picking on each other. Everyone of them. ?
yes any injury to the calm and it will turn black. I have my breeds separated and some of them that can get to the fence will peck each other once in a a while. That is exactly what it looks like

I really need to find out if that's what it is and find out who's doing it if that's the situation! Poor birds!
