I wouldnt mind being a spoiled house chicken like a serama or silkie though xD
The worst one I have for jumping the fence is a blue Marans. The Amelias stayed in the chicken yard.
The fence is a 6 ft. fence though.With a 4 ft. fence you would need to clip one wing for a lot of Breeds.
Orpingtons no though. The Amelias are amazing olive green egg layers.....

Well, everyone has one clipped wing each, anyway--though I should check Souffle, since she was molting pretty well when I got her and shortly thereafter, so it's possible I clipped feathers shortly before they came out...
Maybe my girls are just lazy, though the first day I let them freerange, the neighbors were treated to the sight of my husband and I going 'round and 'round the truck, because Curry kept going under the exact center. I'm not sure if she went over or under the fence, since there are holes where (I first noticed) she got out, but no one's left the yard since.
