Question to all Genesis owners. Mine is working great just hearing a slight click from time to time . Maybe 40 seconds apart or less . Turner is working to. Sounds like maybe something vibrates possibly and the sound may be the styrofoam just not sure if this is normal or if I need to contact the manufacture like I said it's working fine though

Mine is completely quiet.

It is probably the turner arm on the auto egg turner. The next time you candle, see if something is sticking on one of the rails.

Sure the clicking is from the bator and not the turner? My turner occasionally clicks.

It's hard to tell will take a better look at least it's working so I'm not really worried. I would think it would only rub when it moves though and this is much more often

Ok I have some more incubator questions is there a certain brand of backup hygrometer and temperature gauge that you recommend? What about a candler? I'm going to order from Incubator Warehouse, I've decided I don't want to hatch quail.

I don't have a back up thermometer, as I use the Spot Check. I do have back up batteries. For a hygrometer, I use a round hygrometer in the reptile section of PetCo.

Beautiful!!! I need to add some of that Marans color to my egg basket. I have one OE hen who lays a dark brown egg but she is still on winter strike!
