I sooo wanted to meet everyone that went to the show, but had nooo idea how to find anyone. I had my 81 year old Mom with me, who picked a seat for the 4-H showmanship that was ping on when we arrived. I didn't want to leave her alone too long and neither of us can spend a long time on our feet. I was able to track down Walt and introduced myself to him. He was busy judging so we only talked for a minute. Very nice guy!

It would have been really easy to spot me. I was the only young girl with long hair that had a camera around her neck or in front of her face the entire time

You take great pictures too! I was supposed to meet there with someone to get @Chic CAN 's English Orph pullets but was having messaging issues on my phone. She ended up being sick and didn't come, but was fine with me picking them up at her house....they she texted that one of the 2 pullets looked like it got stepped on and was not doing well so she didn't want to sell that one. I was only able to pick up one, but she looks good. I will meet up with Chic CAN on the 10th for delivery!

Thank you

The Dele's are outside and loving more space. One of them did this crazy thing in the box a couple of times so I thought it was just them getting crowded. She would spin around like a dog chasing its tail. Not continuously but really fast. Being new to this stuff I am wondering what behaviors are normal and what ones are just weird.

New little friends checking out the I phone

Here they are in new digs.

Adorable!!!!

I grabbed 5 buffs from the feed store.. and could not resist the Turkey. He will be butchered before my husband gets back from deployment so he can't object. And when he is drooling over Thanksgiving diner. I love Turkeys! They are so cool . I love their personality. I would almost get me a smaller breed of one just for a pet :D

One of these days I will try processing turkey....maybe. Have to get thru the first of the meat birds though. How long to turkeys take to mature enough?

Anyone know if eggs being entered at the fair all need to be from the same breed of hen? I'd love to enter a dozen, but I have a flock of mixed layers..

More chick pics, anyone? A couple macro headshots in here... I just love my babies so much!

...I did see you. I was the one either chasing or carrying a speedy little blonde girl.

Yes, Seramas are chickens--very little chickens.
We all loved these, my husband especially. Their little crows were sooo cute!

Behind the scenes of a photoshoot with the chicks, a herding dog obsesses.

Again, awesome photos. You're very talented.
