It depends a bit on what type of duck you get. Some are very hardy, some are very loud, some are delicate, some are quiet... for ducks.Im mostly wanting marans.
so for my questions about the ducklings, how hard are they to care for and are they loud?
Also duck poo is very wet by comparison to Chickens so they are very messy.(Or so I have read and remember from the one time I had ducks as a child)It depends a bit on what type of duck you get. Some are very hardy, some are very loud, some are delicate, some are quiet... for ducks.
Drakes tend to be much quieter. I've hear Muscovy are quiet but I've never kept them. The quietest duck I've personally kept was a Cayuga.Well what would be the easiest to keep with neighbors? lol
I love ducks, LOVE them. Had them the whole time I was growing up. They seem to be a lot messier and a lot harder on the land they're on than other poultry. It is possible to keep them as backyard pets, but go in well-researched and with your eyes wide open.So maybe not the best backyard pet?
Hey guys, I'm new here but I'd like to say I live in martinez If anyone knows where that is!
