So excited new babies. Better pics coming soon but the colorful box is so neat.

CLB , Pita Pintas and a lone Delaware.

What color is my Olive Egger? Blue, or black? I was thinking black but I'm not sure...The lady who I bought it from says it's a cross between Marans and "Americans"(EE's most likely) Also, do you think it will keep the white face as it grows up?

It looks a little light to be black. The white face is awesome! I hope she keeps it! I just rehomes a FBCM Marans/Ameraucauna cross Rooster. He had the Marans coloring with a big black beard and Ameraucana comb.

Karen hatched them.

Im not really sure if the pale CLB is a boy or a girl now that I look at it really well. Ive seen girls be light like this with a headspot. She has a very definite chipmunk stripe if light and some eyeliner.
compared to the other girl with headspot they could almost be twins.

Of course the Del is the biggest and the pintas are just adorable

We shall see what we have there.

I hope it turns out to be a blue, but I REALLY hope that it keeps the white face!! I don't know if it will. Do any breeds of chicks have solid coloring with a white face? What do they look like as adults?
That roo is very pretty

Not exactly the same but the pita pintas end up with quite the variety of splash. Transporting Debi's to Fresno today and seeing them up close they are beautiful birds

I want to give a big thank you to Chris for transporting birds for me today! He took 2 turkey poults down to Jules (fortyfivefarm) and 8 Pita Pinta chicks (6-9 wks old) to Brice (bayocum) of Sunbird Farms. Jules has reported that one of the little poults is weak and not eating. I sure hope that he makes it! Brice is thrilled with the Pita Pintas which makes me so happy! He bought 2 cockerels and 6 pullets. It is exciting to have another PP breeder here in CA!
