Sounds like my Navigator, only gets about 12 miles a gallon. I bought my friends old '92 Honda as a commuter car for work just to save on gas since I work 45 minutes away. Crossing my fingers that I get the job I just applied for 10 minutes from home.

Hello all, I've been able to keep up on the reading but trying to respond not going so well.
Flowers, congratulations on your beautiful little daughter.
Jason, so sorry for your loss. I wish doing the right thing for our pets didn't hurt so much.
Welcome to those new here!
We are getting hot up here also, but not triple digits until tomorrow. Time to fill freezers with water bottles.

When we moved to our house in 1999, I bought a once a month for three months pack of beneficial insects. One of them was for Green Lacewings.
I love the green lacewings. I see them when I go out at night and they look so pretty in the dark with a light shining on them.

Found the camera cable. 3 mo phoenix bantam pullets, very sweet girls.

Best of luck to you on the job!

10 minutes would be so much better.

I've been stalking the threads for a while now and haven't been able to keep up nearly as well as you!

As to the heat, I am glad that I am living in the bay area and the temperatures are in the low 90's. But I still broke down and bought some misters for the girls.

The worst thing I have been battling is foxtails. Has anyone put in Bermuda grass? My father has said it is a really invasive grass that will help keep the foxtails down. Plus it is really good at being drought resistant. Any suggestions?

Took some pictures of my 9 & 14 week old, Belgian d'Anver chicks today. These guys are very addicting! I have extra cockerels that would make great show/showmanship birds for 4Hrs.
