Wouldn't you know it....... Mine would get the white egg gene. DANG! I still have another that could lay OE though. Just have to keep my fingeres crossed. I will have to figure out who it is and may rehome her. Thanks for the info.

I have quite a few Pita Pinta/Cream Legbar pullets who are just starting to lay green eggs if you need a known green egg layer!

Here is plate full of their first eggs. One is laying a beautiful aqua green color and if I can figure out which pullet is laying that color, she will be guaranteed a place in my layer flock!

well, yes and no. I have both colors. But they are not from my pure pens, they are from the combined color silkie and sizzle pen. I get a lot of cuckoo and blue though from those pens. :) so, just depends on your goal. Great for pets or for fun bantam breeding but not recommended for trying to breed cuckoos or blues specifically.
Hmm... I may have to see if my husband is up for a drive on Monday

The first batch of OE pullets out of my GCM x W/BW ameraucanas have started laying and all of the eggs are green. You can always try some of my eggs sometime. I have a friend who goes up to Redding once a month.

Oh, I do have a couple of 3 year old buff Ameraucanas who lay green eggs that I need to find a home for. They still lay well.

I like the color. Are you planning on hatching any of your PP/CL and what breed of Roo would you use over them?
