Ron, did you get any pic's of your Partridge Penedesenca chicks?
see any penedesenca at the show? expo? exposition?
Thank you. I hope to hatch some Wheatens in the spring. I love that pattern.. Wonder if the feathering was from stress and confinment.Got to meet Laura at the Expo, but really sorry to have missed Ron and everyone else. Hubby decided to come and took a half day from work, so I didn't get there until after 3. Talked to lots of other nice folks though, who were all chicken fans! We live only a few miles away from the fairgrounds, but we met exhibitors from as far away as Iowa. Getting to be a big deal, but I wish they could have it open for the weekend. (They do not for religious reasons. No alcohol either.)
Here are a couple more photos.

Wonder the value of all these beautiful tomatoes given how much they charge for them at the store. Mmmmm... craving salsa now!![]()
There was one Wheaten Penedesenca. Poor thing had really ratty looking tail feathers. Took pics for you. Sorry, they're not very good.

Max are you around ??? Oh Max..
The National Heirloom Exposition still has two more days to go!
There is always next year too.
There were other things besides Animals there. There were cute redwood chicken coops. There was even a thing called a mud hut that you could use in the backyard for naps. I was trying to figure out how to use it for a chicken coop....

I missed seeing CapayValleryChick. I did get to finally Meet Cheryl.
This little goat loved my Daughter. He tried to climb through the fence to her. He was for sale too. It would have been fun getting into my Honda Civic
