LOL, the plum tree! I can't imagine my pitas sleeping anywhere except their fancy coop.

The go to the coop when it rains. We do not get cold enough to make them go in. I bet they would in the frozen north east though! Or up at Tahoe.

That's true; they seem to do fine with the cold here. One time I stuck my hand between two of them in the coop first thing in the morning when it was very cold out, and the space between them was hot!

I talked to Chet recently and he is out of breeding BBS Aussies. It was either coyotes or dogs that tore up his breeders.
