July/August, I hope. My BCM started laying this week at just 4.5 months! Cute little brown pullet eggs!

Here are Dolly's brother and sisters:
Lil' Joe who crows A LOT. But he is a very nice and respectful boy!

Hi Dawn,
What color egg do you get from your beautiful splashes or what color egg did they hatch from if you hatched them yourself. I had grown to really like the look of the splashes & have even order eggs from different breeds that have a pattern. It is strange how your tastes evolve. I keep trying out new varieties & seeing how I like them. If that doesn't work out then a new person gets an opportunity to try something new too.....LOL

Hi!
I have not had eggs from the Splash pullets yet -- they are only 15 weeks old. (My lone BCM pullet just started laying last week at 18 weeks--that is probably where I confused you! Sorry!) Here are the two pictures I took of the Splash Marans eggs before I set them under my broody cochin. Unfortunately, I didn't have her in a secured spot and other hens tried to lay in her box, breaking some eggs before I caught on. Drat. Anyway, I ended up with two males and three females. Jeremy took one of each, and so I have the three you see posted! I hope to start selling fertilized eggs in July or August! They are nice birds, and just gorgeous! Lil' Joe is a nice young rooster, and his two ladies are very feminine looking, gentle girls. He has started mating with my EE and my RIR hen, so is a precocious fellow!

Hi Everyone...

I'm over-run with goslings this year.
I have to find homes for at least 8 of these adorable Toulouse goslings.
They are $10 each, or PM for quantity discount.
I can meet you in Placerville, Sacramento, or anywhere in between.

They are my first attempt at better quality chickens, so I am pleased with them. They are from the Channing Grisham line, and I haven't totally figured out what that means, although folks cite it!
