Yesterday a new bag of Ultra Kibble was delivered. It is denser than the last bag. The balls are smaller and heavier. I will have to re weigh it to get my ratios correct now.

That thread has not been very active lately but I'll go post on it and see if someone answers me!I have not. It is a good price depending on what is in it. I can get Organic Pride for $28.00 ish and TSC.
Did you post on the Bay Area Thread? If someone answers there please let us know here.
Your crew is gorgeous!so chilly these last few mornings! i'm ever-thankful for the woodstove that i splurged on last year -- it's keeping the cats and i warm and cozy. but it's nice to be home & able to let the flock out of their coop, so the big girls will pick on the newcomers less -- and i snapped a few pictures yesterday morning:

the big girls checking out the frost!

amelia examining a tomato, once the big girls went out to free-range...

eleanor, who has become the boss of the younger flock

lucy, the new cream legbar

maggie, the new basque, who is getting picked on the most -- but she's hanging in there!

my little sitting area next to the coop -- as the leaves come off the oaks, it's getting sunnier!

me and ethel, motoring on by!
She left me an egg and she was still stinking in there. Bit like crazy when I took her egg and then bit me more when I dragged her broody butt outside. What did she do? Stood there immobile. What the heck? I walked off and she went back to her box. :/ ahhhh I know I said I wanted a broody but now I'm stressed out. Lmbo.

I'm picking up a dogloo and some TJ eggs because I can get my hands on them real fast.
Papa rooster- can I get some EE eggs from you this weekend if I can't get her to leave her box?
Excuse my typos. Sent from my iPhone.
haha Papa BROODER - my phone's auto correct had it's way with my words. haha
I can see if there are any eggs when we get home and ill let you know.
Sure, you can put as many silkies and easter eggers under her as you want.PapaBrooter(Rooster?)
Hi Jeff,
I have a Broody EO Marraduna Basque Hen. She has been sleeping in the nest box for more than 3 days. She is on the nest each time I check too. She did get off and eat this morning, but she is back on the nest and did not get off for the cabbage treat.
Would it be ok to put a couple of the eggs I am hatching for you under her? I would wait until lockdown just to make sure she is really broody.
All of the eggs except the Jubilee Orps and 2 of the 6 CLs are going strong. There are 4 EEs and a bunch of silkies. I don't want to put anything precious under her like the Rhodebars or Swedish Flower Hens.
Let me Know!
Ron
Quote: Were you looking for shipped eggs for hatching or for chicks or juveniles? sorry if this was already answered I haven't caught up on the thread, and where are you located?
haha I have been bothering my wanna be broody a bit to make her move. She eventually moves which tells me she is not all that dedicated to being broody. I hope that was a tasty breakfast! Mmm!Oh no, guess what we ate this morning? Pancakes and eggs. :-( abłut 8 Easter eggers.I can see if there are any eggs when we get home and ill let you know.
