Oh Amy, I hope you get your ducks soon!

I saw some Porcelain OEG at the Stockton show. They were some of the most beautiful chickens that I had ever seen. I agree that I could never dub them- cut their combs (I think that's what it is).

Do any of you have an OLD tried & true recipe for chicken & noodles? I want to make it.

Me too! Actually 3 of them - well, only 1 is in the yard.......the other 2 are in the garage.

Nice! My barred rock has been very consistent since she started laying. My worst layer is my brown leghorn. This I was not expecting!

My BR's are still molting. Hopefully finishing up soon. Right now, my Icelandics are the only ones laying - but they are still all freaked out from the predator attack.

Omg, my husband would kill me! Looks like something I would try though, LOL!

Me too. Actually, I'd be beyond dead.

My chickens are doing well. Got 7 eggs yesterday out of 9 pullets laying. My Welsummer just started laying last weekend at over 8.5 mos! I love the terra-cotta eggs and hers have the spots too! So pretty!

Beautiful wellie egg. Where did you get your wellies from? (just curious)

Pictures of the OEG hatch from this year-- I took these yesterday.

Wendy-- she "blushes", or her face reddens, when she is excited.

Gav-- get's his own crate. (Sorry for the quality of these pictures, it started to get dark because it starting pouring!) Gav is the more timid one so he was running back and forth... best picture I got!

Caesar--Stays in peace with an older rooster in the same pen.

Beautiful. Caesar is a looker and he knows it!

Oh my gosh there is a mes sup at the post office. My shipping label got wet so they couldn't read where it was supposed to go to? What? So I read that they tried to deliver it to me but no one was home? I am RIGHT here staring out my window waiting for over an hour! Then they say they have the baby ducks at the PO and she is looking at them...but they tried to deliver chicks to me an hour ago? It's hard to even explain but what a mess. But I didn't order any chicks??? Oh my! So I sit here and wait...

I'd be driving to the post office myself. I hope they are okay.

I cannot get pics directly from my phone to hear- the app I use to view BYC hasn't been working at all for months. I can get on other forums but not BYC.
Anyway- the recent 2 images are my ducklings!
