I have an old leaky one that I use as a brooder.

I love those feeders etc. that are made out of those totes in the link you posted. You used to be able to get those used bulk totes for free. Now they sell for big bucks. That link actually has some of the best prices. I want some for temp holding cages and for creep feeders.

Mike, I had already noticed your new name in your sig line and googled it to see if you had a webpage.

We just got the poultry company started so no website yet. I do have a witter that i just started uploading pictures to. If you have a witter account, follow me. We have a doggie daycare in Reno. That website is elitedoggiedaycare dot com.

Hey Mike.  PM me what error message you were getting.  Is it password related?  I might be able to help you fix it - I can at least try.

Ok thank you, ill PM you now
Hello guys and gals when you make the incubator did the wafer thermostat cost around $22.00

When i made my homemade incubator i went to lowes and got the thermostat from there.

Hi Mike! I'm sorry you had to start over! Did you lose your password?

Its fine. I've been meaning to start using this account but hated having to start my past count over. I finally activated my galaxy s2 and it won't let me sign into Facebook or anything.

Anyone here ever use the corrugated plastic or metal roofing to cover their coop?
What tool do you use to cut it properly?
We used a skill saw with a metal cutting bade for the metal roofing and cut some of the plastic for our skylight in the coop with the sam saw but a fine toothed blade we also use for plywood.

What do you guys think of these? http://www.2rqh.com/Dandy Feeders.htm

Very interesting and looks easy to clean! For small livestock and dogs. I was considering for my geese actually but not sure it would be big enough...
You see those not cut in half on craigs list, we have one we store water in in the backyard. If we do a big aquaponic garden in the side yard next year I will use those for the floating beds. you have a big one for the fish, then use a waterfall down to the vegetable beds so they can clean the water and grow. You can do a 2 or 3 tier system. They are BEAUTIFUL set up. I'm just not sure how to keep the chickens from eating all my lettuce! The turkeys got to my 8 foot high lettuce beds and ate everything in November, they were so happy. Me not so much.

Anyway, they show up cheap on occasion. We got ours from a pure aquaponics place ( you all know what the most popular product is in those) that was moving out of San Fransisco. Got a lot of wood we used for coops too! Had to let it sit for about a month and explain to our neighbors about the smell, lol. But they show up on CL fairly frequently, Id only imagine they would be more common up your way. DH can let you know what to search for, but they are annoying to clean and do leak sometimes.
Hey everybody
This is Mike (monsterclucker)
I can't log into my old account for some reason so i made a new account .
I guess ill be using this account from now on.
Elite Poultry is the name of my brothers and I business name.
I hope you guys like the new name!
I HATE it when my phone looses everything and doesn't recognize anything. My latest phone kept dying every 3 months this year and I would loose all my data and resign in, so I have a list of everything now for when it happens. Hopefully chooks can fix you.
That is hilarious!
Someone uses that as there avatar.. farmerchef! I giggle every time i see it.

In my bathroom, scalpie has given in and is trying to sit on chicks. She isn't even laying yet, and sparkles is not sure that she isn't a dirty chick stealer. I'm keeping an eye on them to make sure sparkles doesn't go medieval on her. Sparkles has a evil steak in her for such a tiny chicken.
