I know you guys were just talking about this, but I missed out on an important detail...How much do you charge your coworkers for a dozen chicken eggs?
I charge $3 and then have a few people that get free eggs every week. Customers that are regulars, occasionally get a free dozen or an upgrade to an 18 pack. Or I might throw in some quail eggs.
Ok talk to me. A Silkie = a tiny puff ball of angora like fur. A frizzle = crazy feathered chicken. A sizzle is a silkie x frizzle?
Yup and a showgirl is a silkie x naked neck

Yay! Now I understand! :D

Do the temperaments vary with the sizzles and the silkies a lot? What about frizzles?

Just because she's cute...

Good news! The last chick to hatch that was stuck in the shell after zipping is doing very well today!

I was worried that I was going to lose that one.

Oddly, I was very happy to see a healthy poop when I was doing a health check today.

Ron, I know I have said this but, I really do like the daily digest.... The recap always puts a smile on my face... :)
Glad to here you little chickie is holding strong...

I am glad you like it. I have fun with it too. It was funny, on another thread someone commented that the thread had exploded that day and I thought, but it was only three pages....

The little ones are in the garage brooder under the eco glow. They are smarter than the last bunch I had under the ecoglow(not Jeffs hatch-too many for my ecoglow). These went right under it.

I know, pictures tomorrow. I was very busy today and they are sleeping now.

Quote: I've never had a sizzle. You can't really compare a silkie to a frizzle. I think in the UK they are a distint breed. But here it is just a modifying gene and can be applied to any breed. I have seramas in normal feathers and frizzle (actually I have a silked roo also). I also have a frizzled tolbunt polish mixed in with my normal feathered ones. A sizzle is a frizzled silkie.

Clear as mud?
