Today was beautiful sunny day, but, I still needed to double my coat.

I for one, don't really like cold weather. But my birds love it! Today they had a delicious meal of "wild" worms, and comfrey leaves. They loved it!

Wow! Silkies are wonderful aren't they? My chickens did not like me spraying them with water on the hot days of summer! They would think I was killing them if I used a blow dryer. Cracks me up that they want to run out in the rain with the others.

Chili Verde sound really good for a soppy and foggy day! Let us know how it turned out and enjoy those cookies!

I think it turned out pretty good our crazy family had about 40 total adults and kids today whew I'm exhausted.

My silkies love the bath and blow dryer as well. They are so nice to cuddle when they are actually clean!
And that dinner you have planned sounds amazing. I...must...get...started! Humph

She didn't care for the bath too much but loved getting blow dried lol silly chicken.

Nice I love the cookies.
I had a tummy ache last night. Still had cookies for Santa.
Luckily my Dog Baxter came through and made fast work of it after the kids went to bed.
