Hi Everyone,
I am looking to get a Livestock Guardian Dog pup for my farm from a town in Northern California by Redding. I am in San Diego and am looking to train/ caravan this guy down here. It'll be in about 8 weeks from now. If anyone can help or has any ideas can you please PM me.
Thanks!
I suspect I lost a pullet to rhubarb. I had it covered with frost blanket but one of the girls got underneath, tossed her out and went on with my day. Later that afternoon I found her dead in the run. There was quite a bit of leaf damage to a couple of stalks but I'm not sure it was the same pullet.
Mine also eat the leaves on our tomatos, snow peas, cucumber plants, whatever we haven't secured like Fort Knox.
Laura - how is your girl doing?
still a bit mopey-looking, but she did eagerly eat some cracked corn out my hand -- and the weather here is truly bizarre: in the course of about 90 minutes it's gone from low 50s & overcast/misty to pouring rain to now windy and brightly sunny, and *cold* -- the temp has dropped 10 degrees in less than an hour -- and forecast says there's a chance of snow flurries up here on the mountain tomorrow. hope the chicklets all snuggle up together to stay warm!
thanks for asking!
I snuck 2 more eggs in my bator, so I'm now up to 13 eggs in there. Hoping for lots of wellies!
I got 5 eggs today! A huge improvement! Of course, 2 of them found their way to the bator.
