Good advice! I did this before and it worked.
Good luck!
Thanks. I did what you said, and the chick is peeping, and moving around. I have her under a heat lamp away from momma and it's siblings. Poor thing. It is the one that had it's wing picked to flesh. So much trauma. Can you get some tweezers and pick some of it out. Its must have a blockage...or soften the food with drops of water, keeping very careful not to get it in her nose. Also try massaging the clump and rubbing her throat downwards to encourage her to swallow. Good luck!
my welsummer's where as thin as a penedesenca. maybe try a Barnevelder as well?Auto sexing would definitely be nice! For some reason I am partial to "chunkier" looking birds though. My 5 feed store pullets will be a year old this spring and I was hoping to trade a few of them in for some "choice" breeds. (Except my two favorites, that is.) I am limited on space (unfortunately-or fortunately if you ask my husband's opinion) otherwise I would probably have a few of each variety. Oh no, sounds like the Noah's arc of chickens!
cute

Olive oil is supposed to help too. Hope the little one gets better.

Not quite as dark but still pretty nice. My Barnevelder x Ameraucana crosses through a nice olive egg. They are? Oh man, I do love their speckled eggs! I didn't realize Barnevelder's eggs were dark, silly me. They are so gorgeous! Do you know who breeds them here in Nor Cal?
