well, it may have been a false alarm re: broodiness, or she's just on the verge of it -- spent at least six hours on the nest, but a little while ago finally got up for a walk. will keep my eye on her, though!

and in the meantime, more excitement: my first cream legbar egg!

Beautiful! In the chicken egg world, that color of blue is a "golden" egg!

Wow that's an amazing blue egg! All my chickens lay brown or beige eggs how boring lol. I need some CLs ASAP.

Drop Box, iCloud, Sky Drive and others are online storage. They all give you some free storage space that is accessable online and on many devices. If I put a file into Drop Box, I can access it on all of my computers and my Tablet. I put my recipes there and then open them on the Nook Color tablet. It is very convenient. I also have all of my chicken photos there so it is easy to post a picture quickly.

Yeah!!!! It's purdy! and for a first egg, it is pretty darn big for a first egg.

Yep, I needed a jug when I saw how much I spent on my chickens - good thing I do our taxes.... my hubby has no idea.... shhhhhhh

Congrats, beautiful egg, mine just started to lay 3 weeks ago and they almost all started at once. Got 3 yesterday, 2 today, etc (out of 4 girls). I know it was three weeks ago, because I set it almost immediately. It's due tomorrow.............and it pipped today
