The good folks on the OE(Olive Egg) thread said my Pene X Cream Legbar chicks are all pullets:

ronott1, my CCLxCP OE pullets look almost identical to yours, body shape and coloring, except yours have more variation in the color of the neck feathers and crest. Count yourself lucky that you got all pullets! From the abundance of males I've seen, they are definitely auto-sexing.

I am sure the Cosmos will now balance it all out by making my Bresse hatch be all Cockerels...Oh wait a minute! That would be OK!

This is what is going thru my girls, i cant get rid of it. Tried all feed store meds and that doesnt work. Vet said bacterial or somekind beetle on my property. What can i do to get rid of this?

Sorry i didnt realize the pic is not that good. They have something in the corner of there eye. Just on one side. Then it turns into infection and they die. Turns into a big ball of puss.

Is it fungal?

Oh It says Bacterial.

I would PM Dawg53 and find out what type of medicine works for that.

Also, look into oxine misters.

Ron, I think it would be a great idea to enter them.

So many people have no idea of the true color of a RIR. To see a Burgundy girl would be startling to most. The size difference between my breeder and hatchery birds surprised alot of people Sat. My hatchery barred roo is big for hatchery and seeing him dwarfed by the BLRW shocked many kids and adults.

I rarely see true Rhode Island Reds, but when I do, they are a extremely dark brown/red color. Amazing.
