I found the cute, Rio Linda post office this week. Do you work from the Rio Linda PO? I'd be curious to know how they handle shipped eggs-hehe!Are you actually in Sacramento, or Rio Linda? I had another experience exposing DH to chicken math last night. I was telling him about how many chicks were going to hatch and he asked how long we needed to keep them until I got rid of the roosters and extra hens. When he realized we were going to have these chickens for a few months I was quietly holding my breath but his first response was something like "well, sounds like we need to make enlarging that chicken run a top priority". And that is why I married him!He is also getting me a temperature/hygrometer datalogging probe so we can plot the temp/humidity of the incubator over time (he's an engineer and I'm a scientist). It should be running before the eggs go into lockdown!
