Ron, What are you using to treat vent gleet? The Monistat suppositories worked for my hen with vent gleet & sour crop. I have a few more that look like they could have vent gleet but I'm not sure that I should treat them all with the suppositories. It is good to hear from you!
I have had one doing the blood on the egg and it is Vent Gleet! I Am treating currently.

Okay, here's the new toy..........
First the 80# box arrived. You can see the old setup, along with the brooder where the chicks spend their first week so I can watch them.

Got it set up!

A peek at the top shelf, you can't see it actually holds 7 rows of eggs.

I've already got all three shelves filled, with a half tray of overflow in the bottom that need hand turning.................(but one whole shelf locks down this next week).![]()

No, you treat with monistat or athletes foot medicine. I does not hurt the eggs.
Quote: Some are for me, some are for other people, some are for the freezer and I've had a feedstore contact me and want me to supply chicks to them.....
And I don't even want to get an accurate count, but probably in the 300 range.I collect around 4 dozen eggs per day, plus quail.![]()
