How much is that hydro/thermometer?
I think it was $19.99. I like that is has a button you push to see the highest and lowest humidity and temp since you last reset it.

Thanks for the input, everyone! Ron, I save the picture of the Glad container so I'll pick some up tomorrow. Do you have any pictures of them in the incubator? If they're not handy don't go to any trouble.

According to the calibration the humidity is one point higher than it should be. That means the hygrometer on my incubator is waaaaaaaay off. Temps concur within a few decimals to a point.

RedRiver- Those chicks are so cute! Love the EEs. Blue and EE, two of my weaknesses combined.

Crested CHOCOLATE Chicks... I wish I knew how I made these pullets... These pullets were hatch from my free range flock.
These picture DO NOT do them justice. They are really beautiful little girls ;)

Did I miss the post talking about meeting up with fellow BYCers at the Red Bluff show on Sat??? I want to go...at least too look around and meet people:) But, I am thinking about bringing a handful of started chicks to sell. Do you have to register or is there a fee to participate in the "sale barn area" ? I may also have some extra hatching eggs to bring as well.

Well....I may not have extra eggs to bring to the Red Bluff show. I was just checking the tracking on some egg orders and it seems I may have some wayward eggs. Some how an order of eggs I sent to Michigan is now in Montana! This will be the third order to the same customer and as far as I know none have gone that way based on past USPS tracking. My only hope is that they will still make the trip in time and safe.....

I suggested it a couple of pages back. Maybe noon around whatever area they have for a snackbar? I didn't get any takers, but I will look in the area, tallish old (LOL) lady with dark dirty blonde hair. Usually in a ponytail or braid to keep it out of my face. Generally in a sweatshirt of some kind (I'm ALWAYS cold).

I preregistered a cage in the sale area, it was $10. They don't say anything about a commission or anyone to run the area. The premium book said you are responsible for your own cage. At the last show they were taking a 5% sale fee for a 4H group. I brought some eggs up to them and they took them without charging me a cage fee.
