Really? Um hatched in March, hasn't crowed yet but I guessed from the comb and wattle that it was a cockerel. The other 2 squat for me but this one doesn't.
Yep, I would say she is a girl. I am not familiar with that breed, but she looks mature for a 3 month old. Perhaps she is close to POL

Interesting, there are 2 others that are hatchmates that have tiny combs and wattles; they also do the egg song along with the other hens. It would be funny if that was a pullet since a serama is the only breed I would be able to get away with having a rooster lol

Megan shipped 10 Pita Pinta and 2 Marraduna Basque Hatching eggs to me. One was broken so I set 11 of them.

All 10 of the Pita Pintas eggs hatched! One of the Basque eggs was a dud. I have 10 chicks from 11 set.

wow that is great
I hatched shipped eggs--one of the chicks was missing an eye. Otherwise ok though. Jordan has that one.
did you name it Captin
Ron - congratulations on the hatch! 100%?!? They are so awesome!
I am almost ready Meg !

So Ali and I are still wondering what you do to get the monistat into the crop. Ron??? Debi????
I opened her beak, stuffed the piece in, and held her beak shut while she swallowed it.
