Ewww.....I have some seeping eggs in the incubator right now. Since they're broodies eggs and I don't know the gestation....they could be old by about a week! But after last years broody egg swapping where I accidentally opened an egg with a chick not ready to hatch I'm afraid to remove them! But I should huh.
Candle or Float Test them (make sure no pips first). If they are smelling or seeping they can kill the unborn chicks (bad air)....
Only 3 of those were from my flock!! Happy ladies? Happy boys!! lol. Day 14- no wiggling yet. Be prepared for me to bug you the next couple of days!! Remember I had too many eggs? I had my friend hatch them. They started yesterday, but out of 56, only 10 have made it, lost one. Just nothing from the others. I'm hoping for more success with my hovabator!! I used linen on the rack instead of paper towels. Send me quail love, Chiqita!!
