Our neighbors have some kind of parrots and they are WAY louder than our four roosters! 

The neighbors down the street had a Peacock and a Peahen. They would scream in the wee hours of the night and wake me up thinking someone was screaming help me! Our place was 40 acres in the Country about 1/8 of a mile from I-5. This was the time of the I-5 Strangle too....

It's pretty crazy that they sound like they are saying help me! That would freak me out lol

It sent me straight to a cold sweat. After it happened several times we knew what it was. It was still shocking to hear.

Normally the Peacocks were locked up but they managed to get away sometimes.

You have some very nice Birds! The red is very nice. They are so funny when the dust Bathe!

Goldie my Buff Orp accepted 3 Maran babies!! Last time I tried to put chicks under a broody (a hatchery RIR) she tried to kill them! I'm thrilled!! She was not on my favorites list of the girls I have but now she is at the tippy top!

She just hatch and raised chicks about two months ago. She had been sitting for the last week or so on nothing... I got the little da old Maran chicks and put them under her and sure enough she was instantly in love!
