One of My FB pages has a guy that has them, and is very happy with them, and smug about how much better he thinks they are then the AC's. I dont know im very well, but he is polite and can spell. So they get 3 stars!

Yes, separate them. As Ron said, drakes have "parts" and penetrate for mating. Chickens mate by a cloacal kiss, so penetration can injure/kill them.

Well that puts to bed the " can we have ducks question"!!!!! Yucky naughty birds!

Ron thats very exciting! I love those birds, was looking last year but  we are on the not as many swing now, lol. 
I saw chooklit today at the show, she is  looking to downsize out of her Japanese bantams and her Oslandic Dwarfs.  She had some fabulous birds there, the  kids were frothing at the mouth around her birds. 

I have not heard from miss Molly.  Im hoping they are on vacation, but in case they have downsized out of the  orphs, anyone have a Jubilee cockerel laying around  needing a home? I have a  Splash orph  young boy  that is eyeing them, it seems like a crime!

When do you get the Basque hatching eggs? I might be able to get a couple of pullets for you.

I'm hoping we can get a group together to go to the show in Eureka in February, another 4 hour drive but only 1 pass to get through in the winter!
