Ok, here's a video from today. I don't know what got into them! It's almost like the roosters are doing the Egg Song! They just hung out under the wysteria (however you spell that) bush and had a choir! Why do you think they were singing?

Also, I'm worried about the GLW hen. She's missing feathers on her back. Would this be from treading from a rooster?

@HappyChooks thanks. would you say my girl is likely to have it? Hatchery Delaware hatched 5/12 She is young but her symptoms make it seem likely to me but what do I know?

Okay a little help from you chicken experts, i am at a complete loss.

I sold somebody some black copper Marans hatching eggs And one of the eggs hatched out to be a yellow chick! On one side of their pen are Partridge orps who have not leave yet, And on the other side are crested Cream Legbars. The marans are the only chocolate layers I have. I sent him all chocolate colored eggs. Is it possible to get an albino? Lol

Yes, Marans have white sports. That is were white Marans came from.

I do that all the time!

Yes, Sports or odd white ones pop up sometimes. There is a place in Davis CA that had White Marans that hatched from their FBCM flock. They gave up on them though so I missed getting some hatching eggs from them.
