So my crested cream legbars are right next to my Marans/Olive Egger pen. I checked eggs yesterday and in the Marans/Olive pen i found what I thought could've been a CCL egg at first but after looking closer, it was GREYISH green? Anyone have Olive Eggers made with blue laying Easter Eggers and Marans that lay a Greyish egg? Also she is either a Very late layer or this was just a fluke. Could it just be an oops?

my two isbar/marans crosses have both started off laying greyish-green (actually, *olive*) eggs -- the one that's been laying a bit longer is slowly shifting to more of a mossy green. isbars usually lay pale green eggs -- so yes, a similar cross and definitely with a grey cast!

All the nice pictures, the nice weather and my new camera to play with caused me to get some pictures of some of my 9 month old barnevelder pullets.

This pullet was relaxed here, so her tail is not as high as usual:

My almost 6 mos. old NH started to lay this week. I am not using any artificial lights as well.

I need some of those too lol

I don't ship anything, but if you want to come by and pick up some eggs we can work something out. I have some of the best Runners in the US. They are pretty crazy though.

w.

I had 2 at my last house but only had 1 coop and my rooster was picking on them. I have to get the ok from the boss and build a run.
I can ship you some eggs though if you want to see how I pack my eggs when I ship :D

Hi Jason,

I live relatively close to Walt's place, and do know how to ship eggs. When ready to have some, after you talk to Walt, let me know, and I would be glad to pick the eggs up, and ship them to you.

They are GORGEOUS!!! Even my hatchery New Hampshires look like they have a light that come from inside but these quality ones look like they glow...I am sure these are 10 times as beautiful in person Thank you, Tommysgirl! I am sure your NHs are lovely! Yes, you are correct, during the day, specially when under the sunlight they glow with flashing shades of red : ). Also quite large birds. The 6 mos. old cockerel is taller than the mature English Orp., rooster and they are delightful birds.. Lual
