LOL - just left the brooder room after doing exactly that - chirping at the pipping eggs in the bator! I have calico crele polish hatching - can't wait to see their puffball heads pop out!

It was so hard not chirping at the eggs when the hatch cam was on!

I am thinking of adding another R-com
My bator is full and I am looking at some tempting crele and black penedesenca eggs and
my silver Ameraucana and Crele Penedesenca have been together 3 weeks now I think was thinking of doing a test hatch to see what comes out.
Jason, what color do you think you get out of the SA x CP?

Are you doing this to get the crele color on the hens?

What I meant is, isn't it the hens that are usually barred?
yes. I will get crele ( single barred hens ) the idea is by breeding those offspring to my double barred rooster
the chicks that hatch will be crele. So then by using the pea combed crele hens with the pea combed crele rooster will
hopefully yield fully auto sexing olive eggers that look like the crele penedesenca.

The silver Ameraucana is the best mate for the crele roosters for this project

OK, now I understand what you are trying to create

I need to look up the other incubators...

Or maybe I shouldn't!

You absolutely should ;)
